WOODSTOCK, IL - McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio announced today that he will seek re-election, aiming to continue his service to the people of McHenry County.

During his time in office, Clerk Tirio successfully eliminated the elected office of County Recorder, improved services, cut fees, and reduced expenses ultimately saving taxpayers millions of dollars. He also led the first hand-counted audit of election results in Illinois, showing his commitment to transparency and accuracy.

“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved, but there’s still much to be done,” said Tirio. “I look forward to continuing the progress and serving my community with dedication and integrity.”

As the election approaches, Tirio invites voters to learn more about his platform and stay engaged in the process by visiting his website iWontHireMyWife.com. “I am deeply grateful to the voters, my staff and our Election Judges for their support and work throughout my term and look forward to great things in the years to come”.
